LOVE Island star Coco Lodge has revealed that popstar Jesy Nelson reached out to support her after her vile trolling ordeal.

The TV favourite - who caused a stir when she entered the villa as a Casa Amor girl - said the former Little Mix star, 31, sent her a touching message and some words of comfort.

Coco, 27, has been open about the horrific trolling she has received since leaving the villa.

The star was recently left in tears after vicious keyboard warriors called her a "man" while holidaying with fellow Casa Amor bombshell Cheyanne Kerr.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun about the online abuse, Coco said: "I'm kind of numb to it all now.

"They just say stuff about the way I look - I haven't actually had a chance to sit there and think 'that was so 'f***** up what I went through'."

Coco revealed: "Jesy Nelson slipped into my DMs - not in a romantic way.

"She was just saying that she was there if I need support if I needed if because of the trolling.

"It was so nice, what an amazing woman - at first I thought it was a fake account."

"She told me that I was beautiful and to not let what's happened stop me from being me, and if I ever needed to rant then she was there," she said at Ekin-Su's Oh Polly launch this month.

"I was blown away; I was fangirling her."

Earlier this week, Coco shared various tweets from cruel trolls commenting on her appearance.

During an Instagram Q&A, Coco was asked what's the one thing she wish she would have known before Love Island.

She replied: "I wish I thought more before I went on about how if I was to be trolled as bad as I was, it would affect not only me but more my family and friends who had to witness it while being unable to contact/worry about my reaction when I got out.

"This hadn't even crossed my mind before going in and when I spoke to my mum before I left the isolation villa, before you get your phone back, she sounded traumatised, and it really resonated with me how hard it was for her.

 

"The one thing I've learnt from the experience is that no one's opinion matters but those who mean something to you."

Last month, Coco was horrified when reading the comments on a TikTok video Cheyanne had posted, where fans left cruel messages targeting her looks.

Coco  held back tears as she told fans on YouTube: "I'm sick and tired of people trolling how I look.

"It's actually not fair. You're calling me a man."

Coco cancelled her night out at club Amnesia after getting upset about the comments.

 

She continued: "It's not fair and it's not right.

"I mean why am I scrolling through a video and reading comments, and everyone saying how beautiful my friend is, then putting me down.

"Coco 'You look so ugly' or 'How did this girl get on Love Island?'

She added: "It's not fair, and it has got to the point where I don't want to go out tonight now because I feel like s*** about all these comments."

Coco entered the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell on day 27.

Andrew Le Page quickly took a liking to the graphics designer, and they ended up getting intimate together.

The pair formed a partnership in the recoupling and Coco stole him away from his long-term partner Tasha.

 

However, the estate agent couldn't ignore his feelings for the model and he quickly went back to her.

The brunette revealed Andrew had sucked her nipple during one saucy session under the sheets.

Andrew later opened up to Tasha about what had happened saying: "With Coco we kissed in bed or whatever. I didn't think there was much more to it.

"She's told the guys that I sucked her t*ts or whatever. I licked her t*t or whatever. And before that comes from anyone else I wanted to tell you."

 

Asked why he didn't own up earlier he insisted: "I didn't f***ing remember that. A lot of s*** was going through my head. I'm not using that as an excuse."

Coco was dumped from the Island after 12 days, while Andrew and Tasha placed fourth on the show.
